I think I'd argue that the Spirit's power and his giving us desires amounts to the same thing. I loved this book. A shorter version would be helpful in some ways - it's a good disciplers book but not quite an 'entry level' book to read.

I love the practical nature of the book and the way it's laced with such rich theology - in his own words and in the hymns and puritan quotes.

My favourite book of 2008.
